Remember Gangi, the famous Sicilian town Madonie famously receive during Fasismo hard siege of the "Iron Prefect" Cesare Mori as part of the operations to combat the Mafia's most famous story?

Well, now Google seems to redeem the image of "a stronghold of criminal groups" just as was described by Mori, inserting it fully among the six most beautiful villages in Italy. The search engine has in fact made a search, or rather a kind of virtual journey through the Street View tool.

The six countries have shared the medieval origins, all are located on a hill and have great food; are also six of the 21 villages considered "Jewels of Italy" by Mibact rewarded for their artistic, cultural, architectural and enogastronomic. In short, the true symbols of the good life Italian. Well, Gangi seems to excel in the ranking of Italian villages most beautiful and admired because of its fourteenth century castle that was considered particularly attractive and unique.

Following order: Etroubles which is a small town of 491 inhabitants and is located in the Valley of the Gran San Bernardo, in the Val D'Aosta; San Leo in the province of Rimini, famous for its medieval fortress; Sermoneta in the province of Latina where the abbey Valvisciolo and where is also set a pace of Virgil's Aeneid ;. Castellabate considered the pearl of Salerno that was the setting of the film "Welcome to the South" with Claudio Bisio and Alessandro Siani; Bova, Common Calabria of 442 inhabitants. From north to south, therefore, going to the center, that's thanks to Google, Italy has the opportunity to discover realities little known but rich in terms of history, culture and tourism.

So all six villages to visit and live in their peculiarities in a sort of ideal travel along the boot to understand what the beautiful country is really extraordinary and especially combined with the beauty of its many and varied landscapes. A trip for the moment only Vitual, but who knows what the tourist is not the desire to go there really.
